Man injured in Dublin city centre after he was struck by a garda car

The incident happened near St Stephen’s Green.

GARDAÍ ARE INVESTIGATING an incident in which a pedestrian was knocked down by a garda car in Dublin in the early hours of this morning.

The incident happened on Cuffe Street, close to St Stephen’s Green at around 12.30am.

A 33-year-old man sustained injuries and was taken to St James’s Hospital. His injuries have been described as non life-threatening.
